Mentor in Tech 6.0: A Record-Breaking Success

The highly anticipated sixth season of Mentor in Tech Russia kicked off on October 1st, 2024, with an overwhelming response from aspiring mentees and experienced mentors. This year’s program saw a significant increase in participation, attracting 1,491 mentees and 661 mentors eager to connect and grow together in the tech industry.

To ensure a seamless experience, the team optimized the application process, built a dedicated program bot, and revamped the website (https://mentorintech.ru/). A passionate group of over 70 volunteers meticulously selected participants, creating carefully matched mentor-mentee pairs.

The program’s popularity was evident, with applications surpassing all previous records. A diverse range of fields were represented, with Product Management, QA, UX/UI Design & Tech Writing, Data Science, and Business & System Analysis being the most sought-after mentoring tracks.

Participants have already shared positive feedback:

• “I had my first meeting and was thrilled with the mentor. We hit it off immediately and discovered a shared interest in research and scenario design.”
• “My first session was fantastic! We established a work plan, discussed a lot, and received great moral support.”

Mentoring sessions will continue until February 1, 2025, with mentors and mentees encouraged to hold at least three sessions. Marina Alekseeva, a dedicated mentor, will be providing additional support through Q&A sessions.

Throughout the program, we’ll host regular webinars featuring industry experts who will share their insights and experiences. To boost confidence and overcome imposter syndrome, we’ll also conduct a series of #IAmRemarkable workshops.
