I am a Data Scientist, with an education background in Economics. Previously at Quandl, I was deeply involved in both the technical and business aspects of finding the right alternative (or unconventional) data for the finance community, leading research efforts on numerous datasets from geolocation data on vessels to web scraping data on job listings. My work involved a mix of coding, statistical modelling, research and writing through a combination of structured thinking and hypothesis-driven analyses.
