Women in Big Data is excited to be a partner of Apache: Big Data Europe, the event that gathers all of the Apache projects, people and technologies working on Big Data, ubiquitous computing and data engineering and science to educate, collaborate and connect in a completely project-neutral environment.

Most of the leading Big Data projects are developed under the auspices of The Apache Software Foundation. The ASF and The Linux Foundation have joined forces to produce Apache: Big Data to bring the power of these projects together under one roof where project code committers and developers can collaborate with users to accelerate adoption and the state of the art.

ApacheCon: Big Data is your opportunity to share your knowledge, ideas, best practices and creativity with the thought leaders, innovators, executives and those in the trenches pushing the envelope of Big Data technologies. Proposals are being sought for technical sessions at the event. The submission deadline is September 9.
