Kicking off WIBD’s Peer Group Mentoring Program

Are you looking to develop skills to take your career to the next
level? Are you interested in working with a small group of like-
minded, supportive women who will help you brainstorm, and hold
you accountable to create and implement your goals?
If so, join us for our MEETUP Session on Wednesday 3/17/2021 at
12:00 (Pacific Time) to find out more about mentoring (in general),
and the launch of the WIBD’s PEER GROUP MENTORING
PROGRAM (in particularly).

Our presenter, Deborah Sgro, will walk us through the role mentoring
plays in career enrichment; the various types of mentoring; details
about Peer Group mentoring and how it compares to 1:1 mentoring;
and finally she will introduce the details about the WIBD Peer Group
Mentoring Program. Attendees of this MEETUP will be invited to
register to for this program at the presentation.

Deborah Sgro is a Senior Technology Program Manager with a long
career in Financial Services Technology. While working on Wall Street, she developed applications for stock exchanges, brokerage, and banking. Throughout that time, she equally dedicated her energy to developing the people within her organization through direct coaching or running mentoring programs for women. She is now working as a Career Service Coach for technology job-seekers and job-changers,
especially women, entering or advancing in the field.
