Speaking Confidently: Ways to Improve Relationships and Career Growth
February 8, 2018 @ 5:00 am - 7:00 pm PST
What We’ll Do
Many people have trouble talking about issues that matter deeply: wouldn’t it make life much better if we could just discuss differences in a neutral way, to express opinions and actually hear another perspective? At work, home, in social gatherings, in dealing with parents and children, we often avoid what we really need to express: generally because we don’t feel that any good will come of the attempt. Join us to explore ways to be more relaxed, thoughtful, and persuasive in difficult conversations, especially ones that involve our career recognition and growth. You’ll have a chance to practice, too!
- 5:00pm – Check, Refreshments&Coffee
- 5:15-6:45 – Workshop
- 6:45-7:00 – Closing
