** Shala Arshi, President and Co-Founder of Women In Big Data
Shala is a high-tech industry veteran with extensive technical, management, marketing, and business development experience. Shala has worked at Intel Corporation for over 30 years in variety of roles including product development, managing organizations, leading industry standards, building partnerships and ecosystems, as well as marketing and promotion of several products and technologies where she was consistently recognized for execution and driving concepts to clear business results. Shala has also worked at Intel Capital (the VC arm of Intel) for several years as strategic investment manager where she gained business acumen, equity investment, portfolio management, and M&A experience. In addition, Shala is the co-founder and president of Women in Big Data, Inc. a non-profit organization championing the success of women in technical careers. She has an MS degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
** Meena Arunachalam, Principal Engineer, Intel Corporation
Meena is an End-to-End AI Performance Architect in MLP (Machine Learning Performance MLP at Intel Corp) and works on software optimizations and enabling new AI features for compelling AI/Data pipelines and use cases with Intel CPUS and accelerators. She has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in IEEE and ACM conferences and journals including two book chapters in the High Performance Computing Pearls – Vol II and has four patents. She is active and part of the core team of Intel WiML (Women in Machine Learning) and WIN (Women in Intel) and ~25000+ strong International Women in Big Data (WiBD) organization and is currently serving as Director of the WiBD Pacific Northwest Chapter.
** Barr Moses, Co-Founder and CEO, Monte Carlo
Barr is CEO & Co-Founder of Monte Carlo, a data reliability company backed by Accel, GGV, Redpoint, and other top Silicon Valley investors. Previously, she was VP Customer Operations at Gainsight, a management consultant at Bain & Company and served in the Israeli Air Force as a commander of an intelligence data analyst unit. Barr graduated from Stanford with a B.Sc. in Mathematical and Computational Science.
