Beseeq is a seed-funded venture formed in 2017.  It has built a new class of Facial Expression and Recognition Systems (FERS)- and AI-driven platform that connects consumers to brands directly by surfacing immersive product experiences.  Both the brand and consumer are richly rewarded, all in app.

Lisa Hammitt is a 28-year veteran in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics.  She has held senior management positions at IBM, Salesforce and HP where she has grown nascent products from $0 to $200M in revenue in less than three years.  With longstanding research in making sense of unstructured data, she holds a broad patent (over 80 Times referenced) in classification and natural language processing.  She also has nine patents pending in Facial Recognition Systems, Computer Vision and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).  She is a frequent public speaker on the ethics of AI usage in consumer platforms.

CrowdAI is a deep learning company that uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques to automatically detect objects from satellite and aerial video and imagery. The company has partnered with some of the largest satellite companies, DigitalGlobe and Planet, to produce country-scale maps of buildings, roads, and ships and has the most accurate models in the industry. CrowdAI’s analytics are flexible and extremely rapid. CrowdAI is a team of computer scientists and deep learning specialists from the most cutting-edge organizations in the world—IBM Watson, OpenAI, UC Berkeley, University of Oxford and Google—and graduates from Y-combinator.

Devaki Raj is the CEO and Co-Founder of CrowdAI. Previously, she served for three years as a data scientist on Google Maps, Google [x], and Google Energy. She has a MSc from the University of Oxford in Statistics and Machine Learning and a BA from University of Oxford.

Luminoso is a leading AI-based natural language understanding company in Cambridge, MA. Its software applies machine learning to analyze text-based data from any industry in real time. Dr. Catherine Havasi is CEO and co-founder of Luminoso. The company’s solutions are based upon nearly a decade of her research at the MIT Media Lab on how natural language processing and machine learning could be applied to improve text analytics. Catherine also directs the Open Mind Common Sense Project, one of the largest common-sense knowledge bases in the world, which she co-founded alongside Marvin Minsky and Push Singh in 1999.

Joyce Reitman is the CEO of Motionloft, an emerging leader in the localized data analytics industry serving the real estate industry, global brands, and smart city initiatives.  Joyce is passionate about real-world applications of IoT as an extension of her career working in technology.  Before Motionloft, Joyce founded five companies spanning software, hardware, and manufacturing. She was a commercialization expert for over 20 companies awarded NSF SBIR grants.  Joyce has been the CEO and CFO across a spectrum of industries working in startups and Fortune 100 companies.  Her specialty is cutting through the noise to get things done with innovation.
