On October 27th, 2020 The St. Louis Chapter of Women in Big Data hosted a Fireside Chat with Bhavani Amirthalingam. Amirthalingam is the Chief Digital Information Officer at Ameren, a Fortune 500 utility company in the greater St. Louis area. She is leading Ameren’s digital transformation to deliver a differentiated customer and co-worker experience, leveraging emerging technologies to enable the grid of the future while driving operational excellence at scale. She is focused on accelerating technology solutions to enable greater safety, security, reliability and productivity at scale. Amirthalingam serves as a member of the Forbes Technology Council and an executive member of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Information, Communication and Cyber Security (ICCS) Committee. She is also a member of World 50, a private community for CEOs and C-level executives at globally respected organizations that is dedicated to discovering better ideas, sharing valuable experiences and building relationships that make a lasting impact.

The session was moderated by Kalpana Ramadoss, Associate Director – Digital Platform Solutions at Millipore Sigma

Kalpana Ramadoss is an Associate Director at Millipore Sigma leading an E-Commerce and Integration team. In her role, she is responsible for end to end management of E-Commerce solutions, including integration to SAP. She has over 20 years of experience working in Life Science Industry.

The entire session was focused on topics relating to Digital Transformation, Data, Mentoring and Leadership and was well attended by fellow women leaders, professionals and college students.
