In 2025, the WiBD–DataCamp Donates partnership continued to deliver remarkable value to our global community with over 7,000 in the program. Members benefited from ongoing free access to DataCamp, resulting in thousands of completed courses and an impressive 480 certifications earned across multiple pathways, including SQL Associate, Python Data Associate, Data Engineer, AI Engineer for Data Scientists Associate, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data Scientist Associate, Data Analyst Associate, Data Engineer Associate, Data Literacy, and AI Fundamentals. We had several learners earning three or more certifications – very impressive. 

Chapter-based learning cohorts also emerged as a best practice, providing structure, accountability, and a strong sense of peer motivation. Each month, we spotlighted standout learners whose inspiring testimonials reflected the transformational impact of the program worldwide.
Participants consistently reported strengthened technical proficiency through hands-on training in Python, SQL, data analysis, data science, and AI fundamentals. Many shared stories of meaningful career advancement—including transitions into data-focused roles—and greater confidence applying newly gained skills in real-world environments. Learners also emphasized the importance of DataCamp’s certification pathways, which offer clear milestones, rigorous assessments, and portfolio-ready projects that validate competency and readiness for industry roles.

Equally impactful is the supportive ecosystem created by Women in Big Data. Mentorship, community engagement, and ongoing encouragement help learners stay motivated and feel a true sense of belonging in the data and technology fields. Testimonials from across the globe highlighted core themes: career transformation and upward mobility, practical skill-building, increased confidence, access to opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach, and the empowerment of both beginners and advanced learners. Above all, learners spoke to the power of community—finding shared purpose, connection, and encouragement within WiBD.

Together, these outcomes affirm that the collaboration between DataCamp Donates and WiBD is expanding access, accelerating skill development, and creating pathways for women and underrepresented groups in data and AI. And the momentum continues to grow, reflected in impressive learner progress metrics and the evolving success stories within our community.
