Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), a MacAulay-Brown, Inc. company is looking for an experienced AI (Artificial Intelligence) Engineer to work on customer site in Columbia, MD.  Responsible for development of new Machine Learning models and techniques for cutting edge applications. They will support the exploration of new data sources and discovery of new techniques for best leveraging data. They will collect and perform data analysis to validate and create new AI capabilities. They will work closely with researchers and fellow engineers to design, develop and incorporate AI solutions into new products.

Security Clearance:

  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Required Skills:

  • A BS in a field related to Machine Learning such as: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics.
  • Must have at least 5 years of OO software engineering experience (Java or similar)
  • Hands on experience in the advancement of AI research and technology.
  • Understanding of fundamental CS algorithms and their scaling behaviors.
  • Solid background in statistical methods for Machine Learning: Bayesian methods, dimensional reduction, SVD, clustering, classification, forms of regression, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with Deep Learning techniques: various network architectures (CNNs, GANs, RNNs, Auto-Encoders, etc.); regularization; embeddings; loss-functions; optimization strategies; etc.
  • Familiarity with one or more typical deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, Caffe, MxNet, TORCH, PaddlePaddle, etc.
  • Good communication skills and an awareness of how to communicate data and results effectively

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience with Python, Scala, and Spark
  • Experience with Jupytr or Zepplin notebook
  • Understanding of network / cyber, video, RF, SIGINT, or social media data
  • Experience developing data processing, normalization, and fusion capabilities on unstructured data sets
  • Experience with AWS cloud and GPU utilization
  • Experience developing data analytics for production systems
