Women in Big Data is spotlighting amazing women

I’m an established leader, mentor and coach, with more than 20 years of experience in software development, program management, leading large cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment and building a culture of growth in the organization. I’m a strong advocate for Women and Diversity and Inclusion, motivational speaker and trainer.

My career journey from software developer to vice president in a complex corporate environment was not a story of exciting opportunities and promotions only, it was also the story of overcoming outer and inner barriers and the story of deep insights into what constitutes a successful and meaningful career where my strengths, passions, and organizational needs come together.

Since joining Intel, I have held a number of management positions responsible for streamlining and deployment of the global structured process for software product releases. As a vice-president of Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software, I managed Intel R&D operations in Russia and was responsible for aligning them with Intel business strategy. I also led a multifunctional team charged with providing solutions and infrastructure for efficient software production and product delivery. My career achievements include earning an Intel Software Quality Award and an Intel Quality Award.

I was the part of the Intel Leaders Strategic Female Talent Advisory Board for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Besides working individually with talented women as coach and mentor, I actively contributed and sponsored Intel EMEA Women Leadership Development programs and was recognized a role model Inclusive Leader.

Following my passions, in 2020 I left Intel to fully dedicate myself to developing the next generation of leaders and helping women leverage their talents and uniqueness to build meaningful and balanced careers. I’m a member of the core team of the Women in Big Data program in EMEA, where I lead the training committee. As an International Coaching Federation certified coach and mentor, I strive to deploy an effective mentoring program for Women in Technology and Women in Big Data communities.

What motivates me is doing something every day, even little things, that will make this world better and will make a difference to someone’s life.

What bothers me is when we, people (myself included) spend too much time, energy, and emotions on things that are beyond our control instead of fully dedicating ourselves and doing our best in things that can make a real difference to our lives and the lives of people around us.

The quotes or inspirations that I live by include:

“Step out of the history that is holding you back. Step into the new story you are willing to create” – Oprah Winfrey. This keeps me motivated.

“I’m not here to do a job. I’m a job being done while I do my job.”  – Timothy Gallwey. This keeps me focused on learning and getting better every day.

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” – Theodore Roosevelt. This keeps me focused and productive.

The message that I would like to share with an awesome one community of 17000+ women worldwide….

You are unique – and that’s your value, as only by being different can you bring additional value to this world. So, value your unique strengths and strengthen your unique value. People around you are unique too – and that’s their value. Be curious, explore their uniqueness, be complimentary to each other and do something wonderful together
