This week, our community, together with our partners IONOS and Red Hat, came together to explore how we can shape an AI future that is not only innovative, but also ethical and inclusive. It was an evening full of learning, sharing, and connection.

AI won’t replace people — but those who can work with AI will have the edge. Noelia encouraged us to stay curious, keep learning, and embrace AI as a career enabler.

🔹 The Environmental Impact of AI with Iwona Pollmann
Behind every AI system lies enormous computing power and electricity. Iwona reminded us to reflect on the environmental cost of innovation and how to balance progress with sustainability.

🔹 Embedding Ethics & Legal Requirements in AI with Elena O.
Elena shared why involving legal teams early is essential to avoid risks and build trust while moving fast with innovation.

Moderated by Tala Ismail and joined by Julia Europa Huppertz, Julia Charlotte Einsiedel Lang, Elena O.,Iwona Pollmann, our panel explored ✨ How AI Is Making Life Easier for Women — At Work and Beyond ✨. From everyday tools to big-picture strategies, the discussion covered AI’s role in career growth, its risks of bias, how it can support women balancing multiple roles, and the importance of accessibility. The takeaway: AI can empower — but only if women help shape the technologies that serve them.

The evening was organized and hosted by Yulia Tokareva and Aliya Boranbayeva, who brought the program together and guided us through inspiring conversations.
