At the end of May Women in Big Data Russia held the Women Talk online conference.

It has already become a tradition. For the first time Women Talk was held in 2019. The conference is held in the TED Talks format with short and vivid 20-minute reports on interesting practices of using soft and hard skills in the field of big data and analytics.

For convenience, the conference took place in several days and was divided into theme sections. More than 300 registrations were received for the first day and about 750 in total for all days.

The first day was dedicated to “Trends in Big Data”:

• «Trends in the development of AI technologies in different countries and their global impact»
• «AI and neural networks: what is it and what is the future»
• «GPT: from assistant to competitor»
• «Big data in the pharmaceutical business in Russia»

On the second day, the speakers spoke about practical “Cases in Big Data”

• «Bayesian approach for data analysis»
• «Data Transformation of Business»
• «How to bring data science into a company»
• «New approaches for strategic consulting: adopting practices from IT»

During the third day, the audience learned about “Soft Skills in IT”

• «Stereotypes about women in IT»
• «Why does an IT project need a business analyst? »
• «Leader, mother, woman – how to combine and find balance»
• «A mistake at work – a failure or an opportunity? »
